A fine straight grained
softwood found across North America and Canada.
Easily identified by its pungent aroma, used
for roof shingles, interior and exterior cladding
(it is very durable) popular in greenhouse/conservatory
construction, care should be taken of it corrosive
properties with ferrous metals.
